Glamping resort in Japan with Mount Fuji

Hi, I'm Yoshiki — the person behind Japan Glamping Guide. Unlike most travel blogs about Japan, this site isn't written from a laptop on the other side of the world. I actually work at a glamping resort here in Japan, with hands-on experience across Chiba, Yamanashi, and Ibaraki.

That means the advice you'll find here comes from real, day-to-day experience: which resorts genuinely have the best Mount Fuji views, what a BBQ dinner actually includes, when the seasons make or break a trip, and the small things that guests wish they'd known before booking.

Why this site exists

Japan's glamping and outdoor scene has exploded, but almost all of the good information is in Japanese. International travelers are left guessing — booking blind, missing hidden gems, and often overpaying. I built this site to close that gap and help you experience the best of Japan's nature without sacrificing comfort.

How this site is funded

Japan Glamping Guide is free to read. Some of the links on this site are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you book through them — at no extra cost to you. I only recommend platforms and experiences I believe are genuinely useful for foreign travelers. This support is what keeps the site running and the advice honest.
